5 Free Watercolor Balloons Clipart

Who doesn’t love balloons? They bring joy to any design - whether it’s a birthday invitation, greeting card, planner decoration, or even your own clipart, sticker, or background! That’s why I’m excited to share my latest freebie with you - a bundle of five watercolor balloons in blue, green, yellow, purple, and red! Plus, I’ll share three fun ideas on how you can use this clipart to help you get started!

When I hear ‘balloons,’ the first thing that comes to my mind is invitations! Whether it’s for a birthday party, baby shower, or bridal shower, balloons definitely belong on them. You can use this clipart to create an invitation border (just like I did!) or make them the centerpiece of your design. This layout also works great for greeting cards!

Idea no. 1 - Make Invitations

Idea no. 2 - Make Welcome Baby Card

I’ve already mentioned using this clipart for greeting cards, but here’s an extra idea! Since clipart images come with their own colors, textures, and saturation, you can experiment with transparency, vibrance, saturation, and filters to create different color hues. That’s exactly what I did with this simple ‘Welcome Newborn’ card for a boy - I took the blue balloon from the bundle, grouped a few together, and applied a filter to soften the color, giving it a baby blue hue.

Idea no. 3 - Make Background

Colorful balloons are perfect for creating festive backgrounds! Arrange them however you like, and you’ve got yourself a unique background for a greeting card (printable or digital) or even a journal or notebook cover. You can also experiment with filters and effects to get the perfect color vibe (I used a filter to get a bit softer color than the original).
