Summer Greeting Cards Made Using Ice Cream PNG Clipart
Summer is the perfect season to unleash your creativity, and what better way to do so than by making greeting cards? Let's introduce two ways of using PNG clipart for card making and other paper crafted projects.
use Ice Cream PNG clipart instead of clear stamps
In my previous blog post, I was writing about making handmade summer birthday greeting cards with ice cream motifs using clear stamps and coloring them. I also mentioned that instead of coloring clear stamp motifs, PNG clipart can be used instead but still having the handmade look of your project.
I've already said that I'm not that good at coloring with markers, especially with larger motifs where mistakes with shading are much easier to see. Here's what I did to make a summer greeting card with a cute kawaii ice cream on it so you could give it a try too:
open Canva, Kittl or another design app
create design in desired paper size (US letter size or A4 paper sheet size)
upload your PNG clipart to your design app
arrange clipart on the paper sheet (having in mind desired size when resizing them to fit the page but also having on mind printing bleed)
save file as PDF print file
print that PDF file (at home or printing store)
cut out desired clipart and attach to your design
Tip: When printing the clipart on paper, pay attention to the overall appearance of your work because it depends on what type of paper is best to print the clipart on. I prefer to print the clipart on matte paper because I like it better than glossy and it suits my style of work better. If you need a sticker for sealing the envelope, then you will print the clipart on sticker paper.
Using PNG Clipart for Printable Greeting Cards
